Business Cards and Postcard Blogger

I have learned a lot this year and I have come a long way. My creative process is not like others. I create thumbnails in Illustrator and then I tweak it until I am happy with it. If I become a graphic designer I will have to follow the traditional process and make thumbnails and document my whole process. This semester we have learned how to do little things so that next semester we can move onto bigger projects and have more fun! Overall I have enjoyed this class.

Watercolor Tutorial

For your first step create a circle with the ellipse tool.

Pick your main color to fill your circle.

You then will want to create a gradient mesh. To select "create gradient mesh" go up to the object tab and click on "Create Gradient Mesh".

Before you hit enter make sure that you have 7 rows and 7 columns.

You then will want to select the lasso tool.

Using the lasso tool select around 4-6 squares. Then pick a color that you want to use.

Repeat this step until your circle is full of different colors.

You will then need to select the wrinkle tool.

Make sure that you have all of your number match up with this picture shown above.

Before using the wrinkle tool select your circle. Then reselect the wrinkle tool and make circular motions around and in the circle.

You should then have your finished product.
